Adwords Tip of The Day: Bid on misspelled keywords and keywords written with no spaces (ex: discountcomputers instead of discount computers). There are tons of targeted traffic for these type of keywords/phrases at only a fraction of the cost-per-click.

Misspellings are part of our everyday life even when they are accidental. A user will perform a search without realizing they spelled their search string wrong. If your ads show up utilizing the correct spelling or something with a close relationship to it, your percentage of “misspelled search leads” will increase. There is no harm in doing this as you will not be punished. The key is to remain relevant, do not try and play tricks on Google and its’ users by trying to use a common misspelling to drive traffic to another non-relevant site.
